    Terms of Use

    Effective date: May 6, 2026

These Terms of Use apply to the PaceCalc iOS app and pacecalc.com.

By using PaceCalc, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.

    What PaceCalc Is

PaceCalc is a running pace calculator. It helps calculate pace, time, distance, splits, and shareable running cards.

PaceCalc is provided for informational and planning purposes only. It is not medical advice, coaching advice, race advice, or a substitute for professional judgment. Always use common sense and verify important race or training numbers yourself.

    iOS App License

The PaceCalc iOS app is licensed, not sold.

For the iOS app, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless PaceCalc provides a separate custom EULA through App Store Connect. These Terms apply in addition to that license where permitted. If these Terms conflict with Apple's Standard EULA for the iOS app, Apple's Standard EULA controls for the app license.

    Your Use

You may use PaceCalc for personal, non-commercial running, training, racing, and planning purposes.

You agree not to misuse PaceCalc, interfere with the app or website, attempt unauthorized access, copy or resell the service, or reverse engineer the app except where allowed by law.

    User Content

You are responsible for anything you enter into PaceCalc, including race names, handles, links, and text that appears on shared cards.

You keep ownership of your content. By choosing to share a PaceCalc card or link, you are responsible for where it is posted and for complying with the rules of any third-party platform you use.

    Accuracy

We try to make PaceCalc accurate and reliable, but we do not guarantee that every calculation, split, pace, display, link, or output will be error-free.

You are responsible for checking any result before relying on it for training, racing, pacing, travel, safety, or any other decision.

    Third-Party Links

PaceCalc may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, purchases, outages, or behavior.

    Changes and Availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of PaceCalc at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

    No Warranty

PaceCalc is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, or non-infringement.

    Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, PaceCalc and its creators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, personal injury, training outcomes, race outcomes, or decisions made using PaceCalc.

    Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America and apply to use of PaceCalc in all U.S. states, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where U.S. federal law does not control, the laws of the U.S. state in which you reside will apply.
