How can we help?
PaceCalc is free, ad-free, and account-free. Support is by email — we read every message and reply within 1–2 business days.
Contact
For bug reports, calculation questions, feature requests, content corrections, or general feedback — email pacecalc@suur.io.
We aim to respond within 1–2 business days. Include screenshots, your inputs, and (for iOS) your app + OS version. The more context, the faster we can help.
iOS app
The PaceCalc iOS app launches Q2 2026 and provides the full toolbox offline. It requires iOS 17.0 or later and runs on iPhone and iPad.
Free with optional in-app tips ("Buy me a bagel"). No subscriptions, no ads, no analytics. Your VDOT, unit preference, and last calculations stay on-device.
To report an issue specific to the iOS app, email pacecalc@suur.io and include the version number (visible in Settings → About).
Web calculators
Every calculator works in any modern browser without a login. State (VDOT, units) persists in your browser's localStorage and never leaves your device. All math is documented and citation-linked on each calculator page.
Frequently asked
- I think a calculation is wrong. What should I do?
- Email pacecalc@suur.io with the calculator name, your inputs, what answer you got, and what you expected. PaceCalc cites the formula behind every tool — Riegel, Daniels VDOT, Karvonen, Tanaka, BAA, Galloway, Jeukendrup — so if there's a discrepancy we can usually pinpoint it within a single reply.
- Does PaceCalc store my training data?
- No. Everything you enter into a calculator stays in your browser (or device). PaceCalc has no accounts, no server-side database, and no tracking. Your unit preference and last-used VDOT are saved to localStorage so they survive page reloads on the same device — that's it.
- How do I report an iOS app bug?
- Email pacecalc@suur.io with: the app version (Settings → About), your iOS version, the calculator screen where the bug appeared, and steps to reproduce. Screenshots help.
- Can I use PaceCalc embedded in my running blog?
- Yes. The pace calculator has a bare-layout embed at /embed/pace-calculator that you can iframe. See the /embed page for the snippet and sizing notes.
- A marathon I care about isn't in the race library. Can you add it?
- Suggest it on the /race-requests page. Submissions with a real GPX file or official elevation source jump the queue.
